Meet the team....
Each group is run by a highly trained leader and supported by a local volunteer and a young sibs leader. The team leaders have a wide variety of specialist skills and experience supporting and educating children with Autism and other needs. The young sibs leader is usually a young person who has an interest in working with children or one of our sibs who have grown up to become a mentor to the younger members of the group . The local volunteer may be a parent or student with an interest in working with children
Leaders are DBS approved. Certificated Training includes;
Paediatric First Aid, Food & Hygiene, Safeguarding (Designated Safeguarding Lead), Team Teach, Understanding Autism, Managing Challenging Behaviour, Sibs Leader Trained.
My life aim is to enthuse others and encourage them to become confident individuals, inquisitive about the world around them. I will give most things 'a go' and am considered by most to be quirky if not slightly mad.
